"The idea is to produce really well made puzzles, engineered to be a pleasure to put together, with different stages of experience at new points in the assembly, ending in a fulfilling finish. We use bi-directional die-cutting which means the puzzle is cut into strips in the first cut then into pieces with a second cut. This makes the pieces more crisp and have less bevel around the edge of the pieces. Usually you can pick up the entire puzzle by one corner as our good paper and twice cut puzzle is this well made. We print with matte inks to reduce glare making the puzzle image easier to see. And we put a poster of the puzzle at full size for any one wishing to refer to it during assembly."
